Kans grass or Saccharum spontaneum (also known as কাশ, Kash phool, Kash flower, wild sugarcane, काँस, କାଶତଣ୍ଡି, কঁহুৱা, நாணல்খাগৰী) is a beautiful perennial grass growing up to 3 meters in height, with spreading rhizomatous roots. It is mainly native to India and Bangladesh, in the Poaceae family. In northeast India, particularly in states of the country like Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, it is cultivated along with major crops. The fiber extracted from Kans grass is strong and flexible. It is widely used for the manufacture of cordage, ropes, mats and baskets.

** Step :
1) First of all make potting mix for Peace lily plant, the ratio of the potting mix is 60% normal garden soil, 20% vermicompost or fully decompose cow dung and 20% fine sand.
2) Take a pot with well drainage system and cover the drainage holes with some coconut husk. Fill it with potting mix.
3) Plant Peace lily center of the potting mix.
4) Finally thoroughly watering and keep it partial shade place.
** Care tips of Peace lily :
1) First tip is : Pick a container with well drainage system to avoid root rot.
2) Second tip is potting mix : Plant your Peace lily in well drainage potting mix.
3) Third tip is light : Peace lily prefer light partial shade and don't required to much sunlight. Keep your Peace lily in low-light or partial sunlight place. Yellowing leaves indicate that the light is too strong and brown leaves indicate scorching from direct sunlight.
4) Fourth tip is light : Peace lily love moist soil. Water your Peace lily every five to seven days, depending on the humidity in the environment. When top of the soil feel slightly dry then water it.

DIY cement bonsai pot | How to make cement bonsai pot at home


In this video I'm going to show you how to make cement bonsai pot at home.

Cement bonsai pot making step :
1) First of all take two plastic bowl or pot one should be smaller than other.
2) Now coat the outer side of the smaller pot with some used engine oil. Coat the inside of the larger pot with engine oil.
3) Pour some dry cement and then rotate the pot to coat the inside with cement.
4) Mix cement and sand into 1:2 ratio (one part of cement and two parts of sand).
Add water into the mixture and mix it well.
5) Fill cement mixer into the large pot.
6) Place the smaller pot and centre it. Use some weight over the smaller pot.
7) After 1-2 days your bonsai pot is ready.

Bonsai is a Japanese art form using cultivation techniques to produce small trees in containers that mimic the shape and scale of full size trees.

Water apple (wax jambu) are delicious evergreen tropical fruit, in the family Myrtaceae. It’s also known as wax apple, wax jambu, Java apple, Semarang rose apple and jamrul. It’s mainly native to Malay Peninsula, the Greater Sunda Islands and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Water apple tree mainly propagate from air layering method. In this video I'm going to show you how to propagate water apple plant through air layering method (with update).
The best propagation methods is air layering. Air layering is a method of propagating new trees and shrubs from stems still attached to the parent plant. The stem is wrapped with damp coco peat or other media to encourage roots to form. Air layering is an effective propagation method for some plants that do not root readily from cuttings and which often lack low-growing shoots suitable for conventional layering, such as magnolia, hazel, Cotinus and flowering Cornus species.

How to grow hibiscus from cuttings with update


Hibiscus is a beautiful perennial flowering house plant in the Malvaceae family. It is mainly native to warm temperate, tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world. It is also known as rose mallow, hardy hibiscus, rose of sharon, tropical hibiscus, sembaruthi flower, gudhal flower and jaswand. Hibiscus plant mainly propagate through stem cutting. In this video I'm going to show you "how to grow hibiscus from cuttings with update".
Following is a step by step guide on growing Hibiscus from cutting:
1) Cut a stem of 6 to 8 inch length at 45-degree angle from an actively growing healthy.
2) Remove all the leaves at the bottom and cut all the top leaves into half or less.
3) Take a small pot with well drainage holes and fill it with potting mix. The ratio of the potting mix is 60% garden soil, 20% fine sand and 20% vermicompost.
4) Dip the cut end of the cutting in a rooting hormone. use rooting powder is not mandatory
5) Make a hole in the soil in the pot and insert the cutting into the soil. You can put 1-2 cuttings in different holes in the same pot.
6) Place the pot in shade where temperature is at 20-26°C.
7) Hibiscus cuttings take about 4-5 weeks to develop new roots and new leaves start to emerge.

It is mainly native to Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia. Croton plant mainly propagate through stem cutting. It is a very easy process and you can do it any time of the year, but best growing season is spring, early autumn and monsoon.
Plant propagation steps :
First of all cut any healthy stem from the main plant. Now I'm make potting mix for croton plant. The ratio of the potting mix is 60% normal garden soil, 20% fine sand and 20% vermicompost or fully decompose cow dung. Mix it very well. Take a grow bag or any kind of pot and fill it with potting mix. Take this cutting and remove some excess leaves bottom of the stem cutting. Take this cutting and deep into the rooting powder. Make two holes into the potting mix with your finger or any gardening tools. Place this cutting into the hole and press it gently. Finally through watering and keep it partial shade place. After 45 days cuttings look like this. Roots are very well developed. Now we transplant into the individual pot. Take two pots with wall drainage system and fill it with potting mix. Take this croton plant and planted into the center of the pot. Finally through watering.

How to Propagate Okinawan Spinach or Gynura Bicolor from Cutting



Okinawan spinach, Gynura bicolor, Edible gynura, is a member of the chrysanthemum family (Asteraceae). It is native to the Thailand, China and Myanmar. Okinawan spinach is a perennial flowering plant, whose main attraction is its clump of chocolate-purple leaves with green, with a tropical, fleshy appearance.
