Dieffenbachia or dumb cane is an evergreen perennial ornamental beautiful foliage decorative low light house plant (indoor as well outdoor) in the Araceae family. It is mainly native to the Mexico and the West Indies south to Argentina. It's also known as dumb cane and mother in law's tongue plant.
