Water apple or jambu air layering propagation

Water apple (wax jambu) are delicious evergreen tropical fruit, in the family Myrtaceae. It’s also known as wax apple, wax jambu, Java apple, Semarang rose apple and jamrul. It’s mainly native to Malay Peninsula, the Greater Sunda Islands and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Water apple tree mainly propagate from air layering method. In this video I'm going to show you how to propagate water apple plant through air layering method (with update).
The best propagation methods is air layering. Air layering is a method of propagating new trees and shrubs from stems still attached to the parent plant. The stem is wrapped with damp coco peat or other media to encourage roots to form. Air layering is an effective propagation method for some plants that do not root readily from cuttings and which often lack low-growing shoots suitable for conventional layering, such as magnolia, hazel, Cotinus and flowering Cornus species.
