Grow lucky bamboo in soil and care tips



Lucky bamboo is a most popular perennial indoor plant, in the family Asparagaceae and native to the Central Africa. Actually lucky bamboo is not a bamboo plant, it is a kind of Dracaena. It's scientific name is Dracaena sanderiana. Lucky bamboo is a very popular in India, but most of its Actual imported from China and Taiwan. It consider lucky plant, but I don't know what the lucky part. But one thing is that scientifically proven is that it is a great air purifying house plant. In this video I'm going to show you how to grow lucky bamboo plant in soil and it's care. Lucky bamboo is a very low maintenance plant you can grow in soil as well as water and you can propagate through stem cutting.

Plant Grow steps :
First of all make potting mix for lucky bamboo. The ratio of the potting mix is 90% cocopeat and 10% vermicompost or any type of organic compost. Take a well drainage container and fill it with potting mix. Make some holes into the potting mix with your finger or any gardening tools. Take this bamboo cuttings and place into the hole and press it gently. Finally sprinkle little bit of water.

Caring tips of lucky bamboo plant :
First tip is light : This plant don't required full sunlight, keep your plant out of direct sunlight.
Second tip is watering : If you grow this plant in water just frequently change this water every 10 to 15 days and if you grow this plant in soil keep this soil just moist.
Third and final tip is remove dead or yellow leaves.
