How to Propagate Dracaena Plant from Cutting and Care Tips (With Update)



Dracaena is an evergreen perennial ornamental beautiful foliage decorative indoor as well outdoor house plant. Dracaena is a genus of about 120 species of trees and shrubs. It's belongs to the family Asparagaceae. The majority of the species are mainly native to the Africa, southeast Asia and tropical central America. Now I'm going to show you how to propagate dracaena plant from stem cutting and care tips.

Dracaena Plant Propagation Steps:
1) First of all cut any healthy stem from the main plant and remove some excess leaves bottom of the stem cutting.
 2) Make potting mix for dracaena plant, the ratio of the potting mix is 60% normal garden soil, 20% fine sand and 20% vermicompost.
3) Take a well drainage pot and fill it with potting mix.
4) Make a hole center of the potting mix with your finger or any gardening tools.
5) Take this dracaena cutting and deep into the rooting powder. It is not mandatory to use rooting powder.
6) Place this cutting into the hole and press it gently.
7) Finally through watering and keep it partial shade place.

Caring Tips :
Dracaena is a very low maintenance plant, don't need any special care for this planet. Best grow well drained potting mix and partial shade place. This plant don't required full sunlight.
