Cylindrical Snake plant or Sansevieria cylindrica has striped, smooth, elongate, greenish gray sub cylindrical leaves and growing up to 2 meter tall. It's commonly known as Cylindrical snake plant, Sansevieria cylindrica, African spear or Spear sansevieria. It is a perennial succulent plant native to Angola and belongs to the family Asparagaceae. Sansevieria cylindrica plant propagation can be done by leaf cutting and you can do it any time of the year, but best growing season is spring.

Following is a step by step guide on growing Sansevieria cylindrica from leaf cutting:
1) First of all take leaf cutting of around 3 to 4 inches long. Mark the upper portion of leaf cutting (grow upper portion upside).
2) Take a pot with well drainage system and fill it with potting mix. The ratio of the potting mix is 60% normal garden soil, 20% vermicompost and 20% fine sand (Otherwise you can use cactus potting mix).
3) Dip the cut end of the cutting in a rooting powder.
4) Leaf cutting plant into the soil.
5) Finally give some water and keep it partial shade place.
