Grow Betel Leaf or Pann Plant from Cutting at Home : Paan Plant Caring T...



Betel is a very popular evergreen perennial vine belonging to the Piperaceae family. It's also called paan plant. The betel leaf plant is mostly cultivated in South and Southeast Asia (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan). It is mainly use to make a famous dessert what we love to eat especially in weddings and any functions. It may also be used in cooking, usually raw, for its peppery taste. Paan plant mainly propagate through stem cutting, you can do it any time of the year but best time is monsoon season.

Caring Tips :

1) Light : It's prefer partial shade place. Don't keep it full sunlight.

2) Soil : It love well drained fertile soil.

3) Watering : It prefers a moist soil but not soggy, you can give water every alternate day.

3) Support : It required a compatible tree or a long stick or pole for support.
