Sanjeevani Booti : What is Sanjeevani Booti or Selaginella Bryopteris



In this video I'm going to talk about mythical plant Sanjivani booti. it's scientific name is Selaginella bryopteris. Selaginella bryopteris is a lithophytic plant that is native to India. It's mainly grows on the hills of tropical areas, particularly in the Aravalli range of mountains in India. This plants are mainly used in traditional medicine purpose like heat stroke, dysuria, jaundice and use for coma patient, but the effectiveness has not been scientifically validated.

How to graft mango tree



Mango's are the most widely cultivated delicious tropical fruit and it's native to the South Asia. Mango is the national fruit of India, Philippines, Pakistan and the national tree of Bangladesh. This plants are mainly grown from the seedling and grafting. There are different type of grafting Stone grafting, Cleft grafting and most successful grafting is Contact grafting.

In this video I'm going to show you "How to make contact grafting of mango tree". The main advantage of contact grafting is both plants are live. You can get almost 100% success. The full process of contact grafting will take around 2 month.

First of all need one seedling mango plant and planted into the growing bag. Seedling plants are used as a root stock. One need mature mother tree that is used as scion. Root stock cut 40% and mother plant stem cut 60% and bind them each other using grafting tape. It will take 2 month for successful grafting.

Grow Jasmine : How to Propagate Jasmine from Cutting and Care



Jasmine is a very popular evergreen tropical perennial flowering vine or shrub around the world especially in the tropics because of it's unique fragrance. It's belong to the Oleaceae family. Jasmine is also the national flower of Indonesia. It's mainly bloom in summer season. This plant are mainly native to tropical and subtropical regions of Eurasia, Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia. It's commonly known as jasmine, bel , mogra etc. This plant growing up to 10-15 foot tall and it's very easy to propagate through stem cutting.



Caring Tips of Jasmine :

1) Jasmine grow well in most, well drained, sandy garden soil.

2) Jasmine prefer a full sun to partial shade & warm side.

3) Jasmine vine should be planted during Jun to November.

4) Adding of leaf mold compost to the soil makes better growth of the plant. Fertilizer should be applied during spring.
