The croton plant can grow 3 to 8 feet high with a spread of up to 6 feet. In extremely favorable conditions, it can even reach up to 12 feet. However, many crotons cultivars can grow best in full sun.

Crotons are cultivated in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, New Guinea and the Pacific Islands and also a native of Australian.

Following is a step by step guide on growing croton from cutting:

1) Cut a stem of 5-6 inch length at 45-degree angle from an actively growing healthy and mature croton bush using a pair of clean, sharp pruning shears. The croton cutting should have at least three sets of leaves at the top. The cut should be just below a leaf joint.

Chrysanthemum plant cuttings updates | Part 2

In this video I'm showing you "Chrysanthemum plant cuttings updates". If you not seen my part one video, click here https://youtu.be/OzBNyuYgVnY.

Growing Chrysanthemum or Mum's from Cuttings:
Cuttings are how to start mums for quick blooming plants. Cuttings produce the fastest mum plants, which will bloom within months. Spring or summer is the best time to take cuttings for mum propagation. Use a sharp sterile knife or cutter to remove a 2- to 3-inch section of new growth at the end of a stem.Deep in to the rooting powder and pull off the leaves on the bottom 1 inch of the cutting and insert it into sand or peat moss. The cutting must always be moist but not soggy. It will root within a couple of weeks and then you should pinch off the top growth to encourage the new plant to form lateral growth. Propagating mums is a task that you can enjoy as a home gardener. The variety of means for reproduction means you just have to decide how to start mums. Chrysanthemums make excellent potted plants for special occasion gifts or as perennials in the garden bed. You can bring them indoors or out for early spring or late fall color.

Guava Grafting | How to graft a guava plant

Guava Grafting Technique:
Grafting is practiced to take the advantage of well developed root system of the rootstock. In guava it can be done by two ways: inarching and wedge grafting.

Approach grafting/Inarching:
I'm use approach grafting technique in this video. Inarching or approach grafting is the oldest technique employed in many guava growing areas. This methods yields very high success (85 to 95%) during rainy season.

In this method of propagation a thin slice of bark about 2.5-3 inches in length and about 1/3 inch in thickness at a height of 15-20 cm above the ground level is removed from the rootstock with sharp knife. A similar cut is made in the branch of mother plant to be used as scion.

The cut portions of both rootstock and scion are brought together and tied firmly with the help of grafting tape. After two months, stock above and scion below the union are cut gradually. Suckers sprouting from the rootstock are also removed.
